Winning with Rotation Programs for Leader Development

Details Leadership rotation programs seek to build a pipeline of adaptable, diverse, top quality talent that will meet some of the organization’s staffing needs driven by business growth. However, between an enthusiastic beginning and sustained success, there are opportunities for missteps.

The Learning Café’s Contribution
The Learning Cafe’s structure and insight creates a replicable program that leads to high-quality participant outcomes, retention and engagement. Our onsite training for key rotation program members encompasses four essentials:

#1 Participants
How to debrief assignments, discuss and leverage learning, take / debrief assessments related to self-awareness, personality and skill sets. Coaching discussions and tools help the participants – and their organization – create a sustainable win.

#2 Work Assignments & Assignment Managers
Construct work assignments to maximize learning the business, share keys to assignment success, coaching and debriefing, quick ways to be a development-minded management; how to debrief learning, progress and provide actionable feedback.

#3 Mentors
Mentors play a special role, and we share practical tools to help them bring their business experience to life and act as a consistent development thread throughout the participant’s journey.

#4 Program Executive & Program Manager
The program executive and program manager keep all players focused on outcomes and create a program infrastructure that is efficient and effective. The Learning Café shares better practices for program infrastructure, share back overall observations, and participate in identifying successes and course correcting as needed.
