Personal and Professional Development

October 24, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Authentic career satisfaction and success comes from a crystal clear view of oneself; one’s talents, gifts, strengths and yes, foibles and vulnerabilities.

Organizations are increasingly challenging. We are navigating in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world – organizations continues to change; even our own jobs, roles and professional success are frequently redefined. Thriving in a workplace of constant change requires organizational savvy and a high degree of self-awareness – knowing ourselves; our reputation, our strengths and vulnerabilities and the assets and liabilities of our typical reactions.

The Learning Café proposes a highly interactive, skill building, results oriented workshop designed to help participants (through the use of Myers Briggs Type Indicator and other tools) become aware of their personality type, to better understand and appreciate the helpful ways that people differ from one another and how to leverage those strengths individually and on a team.

The MBTI is one of the most frequently used self-report assessment tools in management and leadership development programs around the world. It is a way to provide information about a person’s preferred way of behaving and can be beneficial for building self-awareness as well as for being able to understand others quickly and efficiently. Critical in today’s fast paced business world when we must connect, communicate and build rapport quickly.
